The Tibetan Refugee Monks Sacred Arts Tour

A group of Tibetan Refugee Monks from the Drepung Gomang Monastery in India is arriving in Dothan, Alabama, for a one-week stay, March 2nd. During this Sacred Arts Tour, they will be exhibiting Tibetan crafts, creating a Peace Mandala (Sacred sand painting) and presenting pageant performances that include dance, song, chanting and debate and cooking a traditional Tibetan meal. This Sacred Arts Tour has been specifically created with the blessing of Tenzin Gyatso, the 14th Dalai Lama.
