Volunteer Opportunities
There are many ways that you can become involved in activities here at the Spiritual Enrichment Center! Some of them are:
Childcare Helpers
Helpers during services are always needed as helping hands or as substitute teachers. See Renée Clark or call her at (334) 714-4703.
Kitchen Angels
Help with setup and cleanup at our first Sunday of the month potlucks.
Donations
We collect toiletry articles and cell phones for the House of Ruth, as well as food staples for our food cupboard. We also collect school supplies and personal hygiene products for students at Dothan Preparatory Academy and Selma Street Elementary Schools. Collection baskets are located in the kitchen and in Pegg Hall.
Sunday Service Support
We have opportunities to run the PowerPoint on Sundays, as well as leading Meditation and serving as the Platform Assistant. See Renée Clark or call her at (334) 714-4703.
We Recycle
Inkjet and LaserJet print cartridges. The collection box is in Pegg Hall.
Reward Points
When you shop at Office Depot, please ask for reward points by giving our phone number, (334) 794-2840. It helps pay for office supplies.
Rescue Mission Meal
We provide a meal for the Rescue Mission the 3rd Thursday of each month. If you are able, please provide a side dish or dessert and drop it off at the loading dock in back of the Mission by 5:00. There is a bell you can ring to let them know you are there.
